Description

The pressure-flo filter is a sealed pressure filter with a uvc clarifier, designed to provide mechanical and biological filtration for decorative freshwater garden ponds for outdoor use, with a temperature of +4ºc to 35ºc, with or without fish.

The purpose of mechanical filtration is to retain and accumulate waste materials from the pond.

The purpose of biological filtration is to convert toxic by-products of fish metabolism and other organic waste into much less harmful substances.

The purpose of uvc filtration is to inhibit the growth of single-celled algae.

The pressure-flo pressurized pond filter provides important water filtration functions that are essential for daily pond maintenance:

mechanical and biological filtration, as well as uvc clarification.

How pressure-flo filters work.

Pressure-flo filters are designed to provide three important water filtration operations that are crucial to keeping pond water clean and healthy:

mechanical and biological filtration, and uvc clarification.

Filters are designed to work in conjunction with a pump for treating solid waste.

For best results, a laguna max-flo circulation pump is recommended.

When the filter is connected to the outlet port of a pump, water enters the unit through the water inlet port.

It then passes through the mechanical filtration stage, which consists of sponge filters that intercept and retain dirt and debris.

The water then reaches the biological filtration chamber when it comes into contact with beneficial bacteria.

Finally, the impurity-free water circulates through the uvc lamp, where it is exposed to uv rays that inhibit algae development.

Finally, the water returns to the pond through the outlet hole.
